Georgia Boot G9382 is an 8 Inch Steel Toe Gore-Tex Waterproof Insulated Logger Work Boot. Georgia Boot 8 Inch Waterproof Insulated logger work boot is made with a Gore-Tex waterproof construction. It is built durably waterproof and highly breathable, this fabric is a microporous membrane structure, which means no external moisture (rain, snow, sleet, or puddles) can penetrate the fabric, but internal moisture from perspiration can easily evaporate. This Georgia Boots work boot also contains 400 grams of Thinsulate Ultra insulation to help keep feet warm. In addition, this boot's contoured removable polyurethane cushion insole provides direct underfoot cushioning. The polyurethane material used in its insole is known for its cushioning while not bottoming out features. Its Vibram rubber outsole is made with a high quality rugged compound and has a well defined heel to aid in logger applications as well as various rung climbing related uses. In addition to meeting the highest ASTM F2413-05 Impact and Compression standards, the Georgia Boot stock no. G9382 also complies with its Electrical Hazard standards. This type of work boot is made with insulating bottoms providing secondary electrical hazard protection to those areas dealing with open circuits under dry conditions, but can also be worn in work areas requiring only basic protective toe work boots.
