"I have this jacket, and I think it is pretty stylish. The pics don't really do it justice. However, the sizing is really, really, odd. I am 5'10", 157lbs, with a measured 40" chest. I wear a 16 34/35 dress shirt. My M-65 jacket is a size SMALL (claimed chest size of 33" - 37"). The size medium (claimed chest size of 37" - 41") is what I should be wearing in theory. It was HUGE on me. My size small is *still* a little loose, even when I wear a sweatshirt as a base layer. I am actually considering buying a replacement in the "extra small" size.
So, as a basic rule, order AT LEAST one size smaller than what you think you should be wearing. You may even want to consider going down TWO sizes.
Also, any Rothco / Ultra Force M-65 jacket is NOT made to military specs. They ARE stylish, vintage-looking, knock-offs of real military spec M-65 field jackets, but they are not the real thing. If you want real a military spec M-65 jacket look at (1) Alpha Industries M-65, (2) Knox Armory M-65 (made my Alpha), or (3) Propper M-65. I know the Propper brand also runs a bit large in size, not sure about Alpha."
