Rothco 8444 Black Military M-65 Field Jacket. is made to military specifications to guarantee the quality worn for years by US troops around the world. It comes complete with a quilted, button-in liner. Water Repellent Polyester-Cotton Twill. Black military m65 field coat. The M-65 Field Jacket (also known as M-1965 and M-65 Field Jacket), eponymous named after the year it was introduced, is a popular field jacket initially designed for the US military under the MIL-C-43455J standard. It was introduced into US military service in 1965 to replace the M-1951 field jacket still preferred by US Troops, an improvement on the M-1943 field jacket of Second World War design. The M-65 had a built in hood that rolled up and fit into a pouch on the back of the neck as opposed to the separate hood that attached to the M-1951. The M-65 also had Hook and Loop fasteners on the sleeve cuffs and collar.

Best coat I’ve ever owned

I bought my first m-65 field jacket well over 10 years ago in green. That coat is still in such great shape I could sell it easily. Since then I’ve gotten heavier and bought a black version. I couldn’t be more happy to say it’s exactly the same extremely durable coat I’ve come to love. You absolutely cannot go wrong with it. I won’t wear anything else.

Great Style - Great Value

I'm close to having a 3x chest. I ordered a 5x jacket so come winter this jacket will fit over sweaters and thermal underwear and still give me room to move.
I always liked the M-65 jacket's style and function. I think it is very practical. The inclusion of the liner is an added bonus. I liked the wide choose of colors and sizes.

Rothco Black M-65 Field Jacket

Wore the Woodland Camo M-65 in the Army. Always wanted a Black one, now I have it. It's a good fit and the inner lining is a plus. Fully satisfied. Just ordered the Rothco Coyote M-65 Field Jacket also. I googled prices on the same items...nothing compares.
