Keen Davenport boots feature a KEEN.DRY waterproof, breathable membrane that keeps moisture out while allowing airflow. The KEEN.POLAR TRACTION outsole uses embedded micro-glass fibers to create a micro-cleat effect, improving grip on icy surfaces. With 400g of KEEN.WARM insulation, these boots provide excellent warmth in cool to cold conditions.They are built with 100% non-metallic components, making them suitable for high-security environments where metal detectors are used. A supportive shank enhances midfoot stability, while the premium leather—sourced from an LWG-certified tannery—supports environmentally responsible water usage. The PFAS-free durable water repellent offers effective water resistance without harmful chemicals.The compression-molded EVA midsole ensures comfort, and the oil- and slip-resistant, non-marking rubber outsole adds durability and safety. These boots also provide electrical hazard (EH) or electric shock resistance (ESR), offering secondary protection against accidental contact with live circuits.Additional features include a waterproof leather upper, a Thermal Heat Shield insole for heat retention, locking non-metallic lace hooks, and plastic hardware. The leather thickness ranges from 1.60 to 1.80 mm.
