Basic Parachutist Badge (earned at Army Airborne School) and the gold
Navy and Marine Corps Parachutist Insignia (earned after 5 additional qualification jumps in a designated jump billet).
However, Marine Recon operators who graduate from the Army Jumpmaster School can earn and are authorized to wear the U.S. Army Senior Parachutist Badge (which features a star above the parachute) on their uniforms. Additionally, novelty reproductions and collector items frequently use the phrase "USMC Recon Senior Paratrooper Badge" to describe custom memorabilia.
